Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif has called upon the pro-Islamic political parties of the country to raise their voices against the BNP’s anti-Islamic stance and conspiracy to make the country a failed state by ousting an elected government.
He alleged that BNP has now joined hands with the Israeli Intelligence agency Mossad to oust the present government after being failed to carry out three-month long violent movement and killings across the country.
The AL leader was addressing a discussion organised by Awami Swechchasebak League (ASL), marking the 35th Homecoming Day of AL president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in front of AL Central Officer on Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Sunday.
Many pro-Islamic parties of the country had waged movement whenever Palestine people came under attack by the Israel but it is very unfortunate that they are sitting idle when BNP is joining hands with Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Israel is a country of Jesus and they are the enemy of Islam, he said.
AL Organising Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, National University Vice-chancellor Professor Harun-or-Rashid and ASL General Secretary Pankaj Debnath addressed the discussion with ASL President Mollah Mohammad Abu Kawsar in the chair.
He said the arrested BNP leader Aslam Chowdhury admitted that he held a meeting with an agent of Mossad and important more information has already come to the hands of the members of law enforcing agencies. At the same time AL leader said BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and her son Tarique Rahman are the ringleaders of the conspiracy as Mr Rahman (Tarique) held meeting with Israel one year ago.
Aslam Chowdhury, the newly appointed joint secretary general, met with Israeli Likud Party leader Mendi N Safadi to make the Rahman’s meeting successful, he said. The countrymen do not want to changeover of government through conspiracy. He hoped that the country’s intelligence agencies would find out the mystery of the conspiracy of Aslam Chowdhury and Safadi, he added.
