Dutch envoy visits PSTC programmes

Dutch Ambassador to Bangladesh Leoni Cuelenaere visited Population Services Training Center (PSTC) programmes in Masterbari of Gazipur. During her visit she observed many activities of Unite for Body Rights (UBR) programme there supported by her embassy. She talked to the teachers, students and SMC members of Monipur Dakhil Madrasah, community people of Baoraid, Shalna, and the providers and clients at Kawltia UHFWC. She also had a tour to a PSTC Youth Friendly Service center in Masterbari and a dialogue with the local youth forum members.
Leoni highly praised the activities taken by both the Bangladesh government and the NGOs like PSTC, particularly she emphasized the need of addressing growing up issues like sexuality, life skills, and gender diversity of the young people.
Among others Dutch Embassy First Secretary Ella de Voogd and PSTC Executive Director Dr Noor Mohammad were present during her visit.
