Biztech B2B conference begins in Dhaka

A two-day Biztech B2B Conference, a business solutions exhibition for aiming to expand software and ICT-based local market, started in the capital yesterday.
ICT Division and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) are jointly organising the two-day business solutions exhibition.
In the afternoon, Business to Business meeting started where there was discussion on food sector. State Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Junaid Ali Pollock was also present at the event in the evening and had a press briefing after that.
Palak said: “We have taken a programme to increase our earnings at $5 billion by 2021. To reach the target smoothly, the government has arranged this exhibition so that local companies can expand their market through this exhibition.”
Shamim Ahsan said varieties of software and IT enabled products and services of business interests alongside the target sectors will be on show under one roof. These products will assist the business leaders to induce automation in their organisation.
“The two-day B2B conference of exclusively corporate solution providers will give the visitors an opportunity to hold one to one meeting with them to see what is an offer and what is the best for those,” said Ahsan.
In two day's programme, a total of four industry papers will present on banking, finance, education, health and garments where specialists will show a new perspective on how automation can promote growth in the target industries.
Key policy makers from both government and private sectors will address the different issues at the sideline programme and discuss strategies at the exhibition scheduled to be held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
