Man held with arms, ammo

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man along with a revolver and two rounds of bullets from Ketra village in Birampur upazila early yesterday.
The arrested man was identified as Taijul Islam, 32, of Shibapur village in the upazila.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force led by Major Abdullah Al Mahmud Razu conducted a raid at Ketra village at around 3.20am and arrested him along with the arms and ammunition.
The RAB member also seized 35 bottles of phensidyl from him.
Major Abdullah said Taijul was handed over to police of Birampur police station.
