Police disperse non-MPO teachers on hunger strike
Police yesterday used water cannons to disperse teachers who were continuing their hunger strike on the road in front of the National Press Club in the capital, demanding their inclusion in monthly payment order (MPO).
The Non-MPO teachers under the banner of ICT Teachers Organisation were continuing their agitation programme over the last few days. As part of their programme today, they sat on the street in front of the National Press Club, causing traffic congestion.
