Popular actresses Peya Bipasha and Alisha Prodhan have worked very hard for their respective films ‘Rudhro-The Story of Gangster’ and ‘Sobar Ajante’ and it seems that their hard work and effort certainly paid off as the viewers thoroughly enjoyed their performances.  Last Friday, their films were released in over 100 cinema theatres all over the capital. ‘Sobar Ajante’ , which is Alisha Prodhan’s third film, has been directed by AJ Rana while ‘Rudhro-The Story of Gangster’, which is Peya Bipasha’s first film, has been directed by Sayem Zafar Imami.
Alisha Prodhan mesmerised the viewers previously with her performances in ‘Antaranga’, directed by late great Chashi Nazrul Islam and ‘Bhul Jodi Hoy’. In ‘Sobar Ajante’, Alisha plays the role of Kajol. In the last few days, she has attended various cinema theatres and watched the film alongside the viewers. The filled seats in the theatres certainly impressed her. She said, “I did not think that there would be so many viewers for my film. I am really blessed and grateful to them and it is through their love and support that I want to carry on with my work in the remaining days.”
Peya Bipasha saw ‘Rudhro-The Story of Gangster’ on the big screen as she went to the capital’s Basundhara City cinema theatre along with her mother. The enthusiasm and the excitement of the viewers was something that impressed her. There were many fans in attendance who recognised her and even took pictures. She expressed her thoughts, “I took my mother to see the film. Seeing so many eager and enthusiastic viewers there brought tears to my eyes. I got to see myself in the film and also saw the audience appreciating it. I had an amazing experience. I would like to thank everyone who have given me the opportunity to work in the film.”
To note, Peya Bipasha has her hands full in the coming days as the shooting of her new film ‘Mati’, directed by Azizul Islam will begin soon, along with the shooting of her another film ‘Moner Jala’, directed by Rakibul Alam Rakib. She will also be busy working in several tele-dramas and new commercials on the occasion of upcoming Eid.
