Lalmonirhat: A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his paternal uncle and his sons following a family feud at Tepa Palashi village in Aditmari upazila on Monday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Alimul,26, son of Abdul Rashid, a resident of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Aditmari Police Station Akter Hossain said Abdul Rashid locked in an altercation with his brother Abdul Majid over a family issue at about 11:30pm.
At one stage, Abdul Majid and his sons stabbed Alimul, son of Abdul Rashid, indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot.
They also stabbed Rashid and his another son Raihan when they tried to save Alimul.
The injured were first admitted to Lalmonirhat Sadar Hospital from where they were shifted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
A case was filed in this connection.
