Newly promoted Bangladesh Railway suffered another crushing 13-0 defeat in the Premier Division Hockey League when they went down to Usha Krira Chakra in a one-sided match at the Maulana Bhashani Hockey Stadium in the capital yesterday.
Earlier, Railway tasted a huge 14-0 defeat at the hands of Abahani Limited in their opening match.
Usha led the first half 7-0. Hasan Zubair Niloy contributed much to Usha’s thumping victory. He alone netted six goals including a hat-trick. Mahbub Hossain also banged three goals and he made it all his goals from penalty corners.
Rezaul Karim Babu, Mithun, Krishna Kumar and Nizamuddin added one each to make it a grand day for Usha.
Bangladesh Sporting Club dumped Ajax Sports Club 4-2 in the other match of the day.
