Fashion, lifestyle expo begins in Uttara

The first-ever international exhibition of Uttara Model Town, dedicated to clothing, fashion and lifestyle products, began at Uttara Ladies Club in the capital yesterday, reports UNB.
Over 40 companies from seven countries are participating in the exhibition titled ‘Your Fashion & Lifestyle Show 2016’ that will continue till May 21.
Redcarpet365 Ltd, an event management firm, is organising the event with the theme ‘Do Your Eid Shopping at Uttara’.
President of Uttara Ladies Club Jahanara Islam attended the opening ceremony with their executive members.
Chairman of Redcarpet365 Ltd Fatematuj Johra Sathi was also present.
CEO of the organising body Ahmed Imtiaz said companies from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Iran, the Philippines, Pakistan and Turkey are participating in the exhibition.
Fatema said the consumer market for fashion and lifestyle is booming and keeping the same in mind the event was designed to get more visitors.
She also said the exhibition has also encouraged local manufacturers and producers to export their goods in foreign markets, giving a big boost to the country’s export earnings.
The exhibition will remain open for all from 10:00am to 9:30pm every day.
