Four dacoits arrested in Chittagong

CHITTAGONG: Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested four professional dacoits from city's Khulshi thana housing area under Khulshi thana early Tuesday, reports BSS.
Police also recovered one pistol, three cartridges and six different kinds of knives from their possession.
The arrestees were identified as Kaiser Hossain, 24, Abdullah Al Mamun, 22, Kawsar, 20 and Chandhon Das, 24. Based on secret information, a team of Khulshi thana police arrested them from lane-7 of Khulshi thana housing area at around 3 am early today while they were taking preparations to commit robbery.
Sensing the presence of law enforcers, other dacoits fled the spot leaving the four behind. Police arrested the four dacoits with arms and ammunitions.
