Attack on journos protested

The journalists’ community of Rangpur under the banner of Rangpurer Sangbadik Samaj formed a human chain in front of press club yesterday protesting the attack on six journalists allegedly by the yaba smugglers at Teknaf.
The speakers said in the human chain programme that recent days journalists are main target of the muscle men and the criminals. They said when the journalists of the print and electronic media tried to focus the report of the influential or smugglers either they were harassed by them or were attacked them.
The speakers demanded immediate arrest of the criminals who severely injured the six journalists at Teknaf when they went there to cover the news of smuggling.
