RANGPUR: Police in an overnight raid arrested 11 Jamaat-e-Islami activists from Taraganj upazila as they were wanted in different cases, reports BSS. OC of Taraganj police Abdul Latif said police arrested them raiding a house at Khuniroypur Dakuapara village where they were holding a secret meeting. He said they were subsequently brought before a court which sent them to jail to face trials in pending cases.
