A symposium titled ‘Best of ACC-Bangladesh, 2016’ was held at a hotel in the capital yesterday to share updated knowledge about cardiology, says a press release.
Sun Pharmaceutical (Bangladesh) Ltd in collaboration with American College of Cardiology (ACC) and National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) organised the event for the fifth consecutive year.
The event aimed to reach out to the cardiology community of the country with the recent advancements, which will help enhancing the standard of treatment in the field of cardiology in Bangladesh.
Four world renowned cardiologists-- Andrew M Kates, Paul M Ridker, Glenn A Hirsch & Navin Rajagopalan-- from the speakers’ panel of ACC (American College of Cardiology) have shared their experiences on current research, day to day clinical findings in the domains of cardiology and discussed latest updates on hypertension, heart failure. Eminent cardiologist National Professor Brig (Retd) Abdul Malik was the chief guest.
