Shakib becomes face of KKR facebook page

Bangladesh ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is now the face of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) official facebook page. The two times IPL champions sprung a surprise by comparing Shakib to Indian film superstar Salman Khan. The way Salman Khans picture was imprinted in the poster of his super hit film Ek Tha Tiger, Shakibs picture was etched the same way.
Shakib is introduced in the poster as Ek Tha Shakib. This was another innovative campaign of the IPLs most popular team to keep their fans finger crossed. Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan-owned team however has been creating such innovative campaign from the first edition of the glamorous IPL.
Shakib is the only Bangali player to play the Kolkata-based team in this season. The premier all-rounder who wasnt in great form since the start of the IPL-9, got back amongst runs with fluent 49 ball-66 against Gujarat Lions. Shakib is termed as the Tiger in Kolkata tent because the Bangladesh team was called Tigers in the cricket world.
Shakib attributed his recent success to his BKSP coach Salahuddin who gave him some tips to regain his form on his recent trip to Bangladesh. He returned to Bangladesh for two days only to spend some time with his coach in the net as he was unable to find out his problems. Salahuddin identified his problems in the net session and taught him how to recover from it. He advised Shakib not to be too shaky when playing the shots what was the reason behind his batting failure of late.
Shakibs team KKR will take on Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Rising Pune Supergiants in the next match on Saturday.
