A two day long training workshop on innovation activities to public services ended at the hall of Circuit House of the town here Tuesday afternoon, reports BSS from Gaibandha.
A concluding ceremony organised by district administration was also held in cooperation with Access to Information (a2i) programme of Prime Minister (PM) Office and at the directives of the Cabinet Division.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) M. Abdus Samad addressed the function as the chief guest while additional deputy commissioner (General) M. Shamsul Azam presided over the ceremony and assistant commissioner here Salma Islam was the moderator.
DC M. Abdus Samad in his concluding speech said the objectives of the innovation activities are to provide services to the people following the TCV method within short time, low cost and few visits.
The DC also urged the officials to be more cordial and professional in implementing the innovative concepts in case of providing services to the people without any harassment and sufferings to take the nation ahead.
Later, the DC formally distributed certificates to the 32 upazila level officials of the district as the chief guest.
