PANCHAGARH: The government has completed construction of five double-storied school buildings in Debiganj upazila of the district at a cost of over Taka 250 crore, reports BSS.
The buildings were constructed under the programme of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).
LGED sources said the government took the project with a view to meeting accommodation problems of the schools through infrastructural development along with water and power supply.
Sources said the newly constructed school buildings are Kaliganj Primary School, Tapriganj Primary School, Dulazari School, Dandapal and Sundordigi Primary School. Upazila Engineer of Debiganj Md. Shamim Akhter told BSS that the buildings have already been handed over to the respective school authorities.
