Businessman’s house set afire

Laxmipur: Unidentified ciminlas allegedly set fire to a house of a businessman as a sequel to past enmity at Banchhanagar village in Sadar upazila early yesterday, reports UNB.
Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Abdullah Al Mamun Bhuiyan said the fire broke out at about 12:30 am at the house of Selim Miah in the area.
Informed, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after half an hour of frantic efforts with the help of local people.
