A free health camp for the distressed children was held at Shaula village Bauphal upazila of Patuakhali district recently. The programme was funded by DCI North Dakota chapter, a non profit voluntary
Organization, in memory of Sreejon Lala, a brilliant and promising young man of Bangladeshi origin who was born and brought up in the USA and lost his life in a tragic car crash at the age of only 17 years.
The organization sponsors about 1,500 children across Bangladesh supporting their education, livelihood and healthcare. This programme was run under the banner of Sun Child Sponsorship Programme.
At the health camp many of these children were treated by qualified specialists. The programme was attended by DCI beneficiaries, their family members, local elites of Bauphal, DCI Officials and Sreejon’s family members.
