Red Cross , Red Crescent Day observed

Bangladesh Red Crescent Society yesterday observed the 150th World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day with a slogan “Everywhere for everyone”. President M Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina issued separate messages on the occasion of the day, according to a release, reports BSS. To mark the day, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society organised a discussion and Red Crescent Award giving ceremony at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital auditorium with its vice chairman Professor Dr Habibey Millat, MP, in the chair. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan delivered his speech in the discussion as the chief guest.
