SUST student found dead

Police recovered the hanging body of a student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) from a mess in Borgul area adjacent to the campus in Sylhet yesterday.
The deceased was Bishwajit Mallik, a second year student of the Forestry and Environmental Science department of the university, son of Jadob Mallik of Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj district.
Hearing the news, SUST Student Affairs Adviser Rashed Talukder along with Assistant Proctor rushed to the spot. Being informed, police also rushed to spot and recovered the body after breaking open the door. Sub Inspector of Jalalabad Police Station Enamul Hasan said police suspected that Mallik allegedly committed suicide. The body was sent to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital for post mortem.
