Moon sighting committee meets today

National Moon Sighting Committee would meet today to fix the date of Holy Lailatul Baraat of Hijri 1437 and review reports of moon sighting of Shaban month, reports BSS. The meeting would be held at the Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram National Mosque meeting room at 7pm, said a press release yesterday. Religious Affairs Minister and National Moon Sighting Committee President Principal Matiur Rahman would chair the meeting. If anyone can see the moon of holy month of Shaban anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh, he or she is requested to inform through the telephone numbers -9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9556407 and 9558337.
