State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak yesterday said younger generation must be groomed as efficient workforce to spur economic growth in the country, reports BSS. "As the country has significant number of young population, it takes advantage of demographic dividend to expedite its development process," he told a prize-distribution function of Natore region under National IT Debate Festival in Natore town. The function was held at Natore Nobab Siraj-ud-Doula Government College with its Principal Abdul Qddus Mredhya in the chair. Local Lawmaker Md. Shafiqul Islam Shimul and Deputy Commissioner Sajedur Rahman Khan and Upazila Chairman of Natore Sadar Md Shariful Islam Ramjan, among others, addressed the function.
