RANGPUR: Police arrested 61 people, including three activists of Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, from different places in the district on Monday night, police sources said, reports BSS. The arrested Jamaat activists are Ismail Hossain, 42, Manik Mian, 30, and Abul Kashem, 42. The Jamaat activists have been arrested on charges of conducting subversive activities like attacking policemen, hurling petrol and cocktail bombs, arson at different places in the district recently.
