Police recovered the headless body of an unidentified man from the capital’s Khilgaon area yesterday. Inspector Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Khilgaon Police Station, said after being informed by local people, they retrieved the headless body from Nandipara around 10am. The body, believed to be of a middle-aged man, was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. “Primarily, we suspect that criminals killed him in another place and hid the beheaded body there,” the OC said. “We are trying to identify the victim and arrest the killers,” he added.
