Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 41 Bangladeshi nationals while entering the country through Gatipara border point here on Wednesday, after going to India illegally, reports UNB from Benapole, Jessore. The arrestees hail from different areas of Barisal and Jhalakati districts. Officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station Apurba Hasan said on secret information, a team of the BGB conducted a drive in the area in the morning and arrested 11 women, three children and 27 men while they were trying to enter the Bangladesh territory during their return from India without valid documents. Later, BGB troops handed them over to the police station. A case was filed in this connection, the OC added.
