Six held for cheating job seekers

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in separate drives, in the capital arrested six former officials of army, police and BGB for their alleged involvement in cheating people in the name of providing jobs, reports BSS. Director of RAB Media and Legal Wing Commander Mufti Mohammad Mahmud Khan confirmed it saying, "RAB has detained six frauds who used to provide fake appointment letters in exchange of a money." The detainees were Mamun Akand, Abul Kashem, Abdur Razzak, Tareq Hasan, Nasir Uddin and Rashedul Mazid. The RAB members also seized Tk 39 lakh which was taken in the name of giving jobs in different times from 13 youths.
