The government of Japan has provided US$28,381 to BKSP to upgrade the judo facilities, including two sets of mattresses, digital score board and a manual scoreboard under the Grant Assistance for Cultural Grassroots Project (GCGP).
New judo equipment provided by the government of Japan to BKSP have been set up recently and the BSKP judo students now enjoy practicing on the brand new judo mattresses in a safe environment, according to a press release.
The government of Japan is very pleased to be of help to the talented young boys and girls at BKSP as Japan is committed to “Sports for Tomorrow Programme” towards 2020—the year of Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, said the press release.
These judo practitioners can become robust future leaders with a respectful and disciplined mind that judo will nurture.
