Bangladesh rout India

Sports Reporter

Bangladesh Under-14 Women team made a convincing start with a 3-1 victory over India in the AFC U-14 Girls’ Regional Championship final round in Tajikistan.
Bangladesh girls, who won the Crown of the Regional first phase at the end of last year, began the campaign of the final round with happy note and by virtue of the win Bangladesh have a great opportunity to move into the semifinal.
Tahura, who scored a brace, broke the deadlock on 34th minute to send Bangladesh into lead, while Maria doubled the advantage on 42nd minute.
Tahura struck again on 47th minute to bring the match beyond Indian girls who could reduce one goal through Sushmita on 49 minute.
Bangladesh will face Nepal in their group last match and they will need simply a draw to book the semifinal berth while India will also face Nepal in their next match.
