The 11th death anniversary of former Foreign Minister and Awami League leader Abdus Samad Azad will be observed in the country today, reports BSS.
An intimate companion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, organiser of the Liberation War and country's first foreign minister died on April 27 in 2005.
Marking the day, the Awami League will place wreath and offer fateha at the grave of Abdus Samad Azad at Banani graveyard at 8.30 am.
Besides, the family will hold a qurankhawni at 88, Kalabagan Lake Circus residence at 7 am and doa mahfil at Lake View Jame Mosque after Asr prayers. All have been requested to join the doa mahfil.
