Fire burns plastics factory

A fire broke out at a plastics factory at Dokkhingaon Chairmanbari in the city’s Khilgaon area of the capital yesterday morning, reports UNB.
Sources at the Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room said the fire erupted in the factory located near Nandipara Bridge in the area at about 10:25am. On information, six firefighting units rushed to the spot and doused the blaze at 11:58am.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
