Man killed �by brother�

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Jhenidah

A man was killed allegedly by his younger brother at village Shithli in Harinakundu upazila of Jhenidah on Saturday evening. The deceased was Sober Ali, 70, of the village. Officer-in-charge of Harinakundu police station Mahatab Hossain said Sober Ali locked in an altercation with his younger brother Abdus Samad over land dispute around 5pm. Samad hit Sober with a stick, leaving him dead on the spot. Police arrested Samad, his wife Zahanara Begum after the incident.
