20 houses gutted in Magura fire

MAGURA: At least 20 houses were gutted in a fire at Naliadangi village under Magura Sadar Upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS. The fire broke out from the kitchen of one Mohammad Ali and it immediately engulfed 20 other houses nearby. Fire victims claimed that their all valuables, including cash taka, furniture, clothes, ornaments and electronic goods, were damaged in the blaze. On receipt of information, fire fighters from Magura town rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire, Station Officer of Magura Fire Station said. He said 20 houses were gutted with belongings before the fire fighters reached the spot.
