�Robber� held with arms, ammo in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Police arrested an alleged robber along with one rifle, one pistol and 101 rounds of bullet from Amirabad area in Lohagara upazila on Friday night, reports UNB.
The arrestee was identified as Abdur Rashid, a resident of Paloanpara of Raozan upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Raozan police station Kefayetullah said tipped off, a team of the police station conducted a drive in Amirabad area and arrested Rashid at night.
The law enforcers also recovered one rifle, one pistol and 101 rounds of bullet from his possession. The arrestee was wanted in several cases, including for the killing of Awami League leader Mobarak, the OC added. Details of the arrest will be disclosed at a press briefing later yesterday.
