Zahid, Momo hopeful about new album

It has been a magnificent journey so far for popular singers and married couple Zahid Babu and Momo, who have been associated with music for quite some time now. During Pahela Baishakh, both lent their vocals to the new mixed album titled ‘Amar Prithibi’. Babu lent his vocals to three songs while Momo lent her vocals to five. The three songs by Zahid Babu are ‘O Shokhi’, ‘Oy Diganta’ and ‘Sokal Bolo Raat’, while Momo’s two songs are ‘Aj Amar Mon Chay’ and ‘Projapati’. Zahid Babu did the tune for all the five songs while the music arrangement has been done by Ahsan Tipu. The album has been released under the banner of Sangeeta.To note, Zahid Babu has been associated with music since 1991. He received training in Khulna’s Nazrul Academy and from Ustad Aziz. He even had a band in Khulna named ‘Angel’. Momo has been involved with music since 2008 and received training in Nazrul Sangeet from Sujeo Shyam, Sujit Mustafa and Ferdous Ara. Zahid Babu has four solo albums to his name while Momo has so far lent her vocals to seven mixed albums.  The couple aims to fill the hearts and minds of their listeners with their music  and remain quite hopeful about their new project together.
