PM to open 9 regional passport offices tomorrow

The hassle of the people of nine districts in getting passport is going to be over as the newly-constructed buildings of regional passport offices are set to be opened in those districts on Sunday, reports UNB.
Besides, the sufferings of the people of Dhaka city in receiving passports would be lessened as the newly-built building of divisional passport and visa office is going to be inaugurated the same day.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to open the newly-constructed buildings of divisional passport and visa office as well as nine regional passport offices on Sunday along with the Passport Service Week 2016 at a function at the Department of Immigration and Passports in Agargaon in the capital, PMO sources said.
The newly-constructed buildings of regional passport offices that would be inaugurated by the Premier are located at Manikganj, Kushtia, Pabna, Patuakhali, Feni, Brahmmanbaria, Kishoreganj, Munshiganj and Dinajpur.
