Sheikh Afzal�s 26th solo art show at Athena Gallery

A three-week solo painting exhibition titled ‘Eternal Affection’ by Sheikh Afzal is now on display at Athena Gallery of Fine Arts in the city’s Uttar Badda area.
Presided over by chairmen of Athena Gallery of Fine Arts Nilu Roushan Morshed, Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor inaugurated the exhibition on April 16, where renowned artists Syed Jahangir and Professor Rafiqun Nabi were present as special guests.
This is the 26th solo exhibition of the artist, where 45 acrylic and mixed media artworks have been put on display. The beauty of ever ending Bangla has embodied in Sheikh Afzal’s canvas through eye catching nature and the unspeakable relationship between men and women, between family. He portrays the everlasting scenery of traditional Bangladesh in winter season, Memory of Bangabandhu, Buffelo Boy, Dreamland, flower and others through his canvas.
The exhibition is open to all every day from 10am to 8pm, until May 7.
