Only JP can ensure peace, says Ershad

Noting that there is no security of public life these days, Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad yesterday said it is only his party that can ensure peace in the country, reports UNB.
“People want to live in a peaceful atmosphere. However, there’s no security of public life in the country. It’s only JP that can ensure this environment,” he said while addressing the district JP council at Patuakhali.
He also alleged that the government has failed to live up to its promise made to JP over the UP polls, and asked his party leaders and activists to organise it well so that it can take part strongly in the next election.
