RAJSHAHI: Three children, who were abducted from Faridpur, were rescued by a BRTC bus supervisor in the city on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
After their rescue, the supervisor later handed over the children to police. Shahadat Hossain, offficer-in-charge of Boalia Police Station, said the superviser of BRTC bus handed over Dalim, 11, Ononya, 7, and Laboni, 6, residents Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur district, to them.
Quoting the supervisor, the OC said some unidentified miscreants abducted the three children while they were playing near their houses. Later, the abductors got the children into a Chapainawabganj-bound BRTC bus and paid the bus fare for them. On suspicion, the bus supervisor talked with the children and came to know that they were abducted.
Later, he consulted the matter with the other passengers of the bus and took the bus in front of Boalia Police Station directly and handed over the children to police.
