Lightning kills one

A rickshaw-van driver was killed and another person injured by a lightning strike at Nagar Sakoya village in Boda upazila early yesterday.
The deceased was Hasibul Islam Rafiqul, 46, a resident of the area.Sayed Jahangir Hasan Sabuj, chairman of Sakoya union parishad, said a streak of lightning struck the duo during a storm early in the morning, leaving Hasibul dead on the spot and Jamser injured.
