Abducted girl rescued

Natore: Police rescued a minor girl, who had been kidnapped from Ashulia in Dhaka on April 17, from Patkandi village in Singra upazila of Natore on Monday night, reports UNB.
Police also arrested two garment workers—Aslam Ali and Ismael Hossain—in con-nection with the kidnaping.
Police said Aslam and Ismael had kidnapped Munni,5, daughter of Abdul Jalil, a resident of Tenguri village in Ashulia of the capital, from her house and took her to Aslam’s house at Patkandi village on April 17.
Later, the kidnappers demanded Tk 6 lakh as ransom from Munni’s father over phone.
Victim’s father informed the matter to police who after conducting a raid and tracking the mobile phones   rescued the girl at night.
