A three-day international workshop on ‘Managing Technological Innovation for Global Competition’ will begin in the capital on Thursday (April 28), reports UNB.
The workshop will provide a tool to engage in global economic community.
Daffodil International University is organising the three-day workshop at the Banquet Hall, Daffodil International Tower-05, Sobhanbag, Mirpur Road.
Prof Dr Nawaz Sharif, the workshop facilitator is the Principal Consultant of Myriad Solutions, USA.
The workshop will end on April 30 (Saturday).
Dr. Sharif, also a director of the UN-ESCAP’s Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT), India was engaged in various science and technology for economic development related project consultancy work sponsored by the World Bank, ADB, IDB, UNDP, UNESCO and UNIDO.
The three-day workshop will groom industrial enterprise executives for consolidating their capacity to compete and become significant members of the ‘global value chain’ through continuous productivity improvement and technology-based new product development strategy.
The workshop is designed as a ‘Knowledge Exchange Forum’ for general managers, technology managers, line managers, regulators, policymakers and academicians who have interest in managing technological innovation in organisations.
Those who want to participate in the workshop have been asked to register before April 25 at Career Development Center (CDC) in Sobhanbagh, Mirpur Road.
