BR east zone gets new GM

Mohammad Abdul Hai joined Bangladesh Railway (east zone) as general manager (GM) on Sunday, says a press release yesterday. He replaced Mohammad Mukbul Ahmed.
Earlier, he has worked as a project director of Second Bhairab, Second Titas Bridge Construction Project and Khulna to Mongla port railway line construction project. He also served in many departments of Bangladesh Railway as chief engineer BR (East Zone) and Divisional Railway Manager (Lalmonirhat).
He joined BR as an assistant executive engineer on January 15, 1984.
