Body recovered in Jamalpur

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man from near the border area of Dewanganj upazila of
the district yesterday morning. Local people found the body, aged about 30, in a paddy field at Rahimpur village under Parramrampur union of Dewanganj upazila, 50 yards inside Bangladeshi territory, from Indian border.
Receiving information from local people Police recovered the body with marks of injury on the neck, and hands and legs tied with rope.
The body was sent to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed with Dewanganj police station in this connection.
