Bangladeshinational shot dead by BSF

Kurigram: A Bangladeshi national was gunned down by members of Indian Security Force (BSF) in Behular Char area of Rowmari border point in Roumari upazila on Sunday night, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Monser Ali, 40, a cattle trader and an inhabitant of Bamoner Char area in the upazila. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders were trying to enter the Indian territory through the border point of 1061 no pillar in order to bring cattle around 9:30pm. Sensing their attempt, a patrol team of BSF opened fired at the Bangladeshi cattle traders, leaving Monser injured. Later, he was rushed to the upazila health complex where doctors declared him dead, said Roumari upazila health officer Mahfuza Sarker.
