PM meets President

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban, reports UNB. During the meeting, the President and the Prime Minister exchanged Bangla New Year greetings. They also greeted the people of the country on the occasion and expressed satisfaction over the observance of Pahela Baishakh peacefully amid festivity across the country. President's press secretary Joynal Abedin briefed reporters after the meeting. Earlier, on her arrival at Bangabhaban, the Prime Minister was received by President Abdul Hamid. Secretaries and high officials of both the President and Prime Minister's offices were present.
