Kushtia road crash kills bicyclist

A bicyclist was killed and six other passengers of a human hauler were injured in a road accident on the Kushtia-Pabna highway at Barkhada of the district town yesterday. The deceased was identified as Salim, 45. Police said the accident took place when a Kushtia bound speeding bus first hit a human hauler and later hit the bicycle in the area, leaving bicyclist Salim dead on the spot and six passengers of the three-wheeler injured. Injured Golam Azam, Gias, Shahida, Champa and Papia were rushed to Kushtia Medical College Hospital.
