Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited signed an agreement with Ria Money Transfer (Ria) to provide remittance payout services in Bangladesh, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
Mohammad Abdul Mannan, managing director of the bank, Abdus Sadeque Bhuiyan, deputy managing director of the bank, and Suhail Shamsi, business development director of South Asia for Ria, attend the function at Islami Bank Tower in the capital recently.
The new service allows cash payout at any Islami Bank branch across Bangladesh. IBBL account holders can also receive remittances from abroad directly to their bank account.
