Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the largest state owned company of India will sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on April 19 to set up Bangladesh‘s largest Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plant in Chittagong.
IOCL will conduct study to assess the feasibility of setting up the plant at their own costs, sources with Energy and Mineral Resources Division (EMRD) said.
Indian state minister for petroleum and natural gas Dharmendra Pradhan is expected to attend the MoU singing ceremony on April 19, 2016 while state minister for power, energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid will attend the function.
