Workshop on local training co-ordinators
A two-day workshop on local training co-ordinators was held at the conference hall of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) on Saturday, says a press release.
The workshop jointly organised by Common wealth of learning (COL) and the university. Vice-Chancellor Bangladesh Open University (BOU) MA Mannan addressed the programme as a chief guest. Pro-vice-chancellor Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, treasurer Md Abu Taher and registrar Abul Hossain Ahmed Bhuiyan and directors of the divisions were also present in the workshop. A total of 12 regional directors, 65 sub-regional directors of the university took part in the workshop.
Condolence meeting on Dr Morshed held
SAVAR: Gono Bishwabidyalay organised a condolence meeting on freedom fighter Dr Morshed Chowdhury, senior associate professor of this university at the conference room of the university administration building in Savar on Saturday, says a press release.
Professor Mesbahuddin Ahmed, vice-chancellor of the university, presided over the meeting.
Md Delower Hossain, registrar; Md Ashraf Ul Karim Khan, dean, Faculty of Health Medical Sciences; Laila Parveen Banu, principal of Gonoshasthaya Samajvittik Medical College; Mir Murtoza Ali, controller of Exam, delivered their speeches in the meeting. Department head, Faculty members and officers were present there.
