Muhin, Luipa to perform in Japan Baishakhi concert

Audience-admired singers Muhin and Luipa will be performing in Japan for the very first time in a Baishakhi concert in Japan. They will be taking part in the Baishakhi Mela 2016 which will be held in Tokyo Square today and performing music for the Bangladeshis living there.
About going to Japan for the very first time, Muhin said, I have not performed in any shows abroad for the last four years. Whenever foreign artistes come to our country, they are able to bring with them several musicians. But whenever we are supposed to go abroad to perform, we are asked to only bring with us the music tracks. So not travelling abroad was my silent protest against this. But this time it is a matter of great joy that we are able to take with us musicians such as Hanif, Qaiyum, among others. This is an achievement for us.
Luipa said about her first time in Japan, I am going to go to Japan for the first time, where there is even a mini Shahid Minar. This just shows how much respect the country has for Bangladesh and its people. Therefore I am going to a country which respects my country and that brings me great joy. I hope we can entertain the audience there with our music.
To note, Muhins new track Bangla Dhol is available on YouTube since Pahela Baishakh. The lyric has been written by Muhin, who also did the tune. The music video has been directed by Al Harun. On the other hand, Luipa has completed the directorial work of the music video of the song Ghure Phire from her solo album Chhayabaji. The video is available on YouTube.
